Each training group operates independently with consideration to age, abilities and playing level. This 16-week training program will develop Core Strength, Agility, Power and Speed.

Off-Ice training To be faster, stronger and more agile, and ultimately outperform your competition, your training must be intense, scientific, and individualized. The off-ice will take place 4 days/week, with each session 90-minutes in length, and will take place in conjunction with their S.P.E.E.D program. Programs will take place at NTC's training Centre, with some activities taking place at Centennial Park.

Throughout our S.P.E.E.D program athletes develop;
Upper and lower body skating mechanics, proper stride and glide leg efficiency, long, fast, powerful strides, motor skill, inside/outside edge work, stick handling mechanics, backwards, forwards, and lateral skating, and the most sport specific anaerobic training available on the market, resulting in an increase of skating power and speed and stick handling.
Each session will be 60 minutes, with a maximum of 4 athletes/session. In conjunction with their C.A.P.S training programs, athletes will train2x/week from May 1-July 15, then 3x/week July 16-August 18, 2006 Athletes will improve their skating and stick handling, resulting in superior on-ice performances.
