National Training Centres delivers intense peak conditioning programs designed to improve power, speed, agility and core strength through a combination of off and on-ice training protocols.

For aspiring athletes like you, the next few years of your athletic development are vital to your hockey career.  In order to maximize athletic potential, National Training Centres, has developed on-ice development programs designed to improve individual and team skill.

Although players work with and play for great coaches, their time is limited as they manage the development of an entire team. NTC understands this and has created on-ice Pro Development Programs that identify, address and develop the individual needs of each player.

Every athlete is different!
Does it make sense to train every athlete the same?

At NTC we understand each athlete has deficiencies and in order to properly train athletes, we must identify these weaknesses, and then design individual development programs that suit each player's requirements.

At the outset of each on-ice program, NTC rigorsly tests the athletes following the most scientifically advanced testing protocols.  To ensure each athlete understands their strengths and weaknesses, a NTC performance specialist reviews their test scores and clearly communicates the requirements and outline of that athlete's on-ice program.

Consistency is vital to athletic development.

NTC understands and preaches the importance of consistency, and in an effort to support and develop athletes we have created at-home training programs that can be used to further development throughout the season and summer.

Once the testing and review process is completed, NTC develops training programs that address the individual needs of each athlete.  Whether an athlete resides down the street, or across the world, an NTC "at-home" training program targets each player's weaknesses and, when used regularly, will aid in their athletic development.

Why choose NTC's Pro Development Program?

Over the last 12 years, NTC's proven on-ice training programs have helped players in the GTHL, OMHA, NCAA, OHL and NHL for over the last decade.  We are committed practitioners of the game and are educated in the science of human performance.

As human performance specialists, NTC understands physiological, emotional and mental development and although athletes mature differently, committed athletes following committed programs improve!

NTC prepares highly skilled individuals to take the next step in their playing careers.   Our Pro Development Programs ensure you receive the best possible coaching and instruction.   You deserve expert coaching to maximize your skill level to give you the competitive advantage in advancing your career.

The level of coaching that players receive today is great, and the 10 years of experience that National Training Centres has had in helping hundreds of players make it the OHL, NCAA and NHL, will be an asset for all who attend this camp.

At what age can my son/daughter become involved with an NTC Pro Development Program?

Because NTC's programs have evolved through scientific knowledge and experience, we offer development programs that suit athletes as young as 8years of age as well as NHL professionals.   Due to the nature of our age appropriate testing guidelines, we identify deficiencies then design age, skill and gender appropriate on-ice programs that suit each athletes requirements.
